You’re Still The One: CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser and Moisturizing Cream

I was a Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser girlie for a long time. Over a decade. Maybe over two? But then (I had to search my own website to remember WHY), I tried CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser. I had always assumed they were interchangeable, but CeraVe is like Cetaphil+. It’s thicker, more luxurious, and makes my skin feel like it’s getting a little treat. I do not like to invest in anything I’m going to wash off, but while CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser is more expensive than Cetaphil, it’s worth it for the hydration and imagined decadence I feel when I wash my face with it. Sidenote, I didn’t actually use Cetaphil, I used the Target brand, which appears to no longer exist? It’s not on their website which is too bad as it is a PERFECT dupe.

CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser

I was into CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser for awhile before I tried the Moisturizing Cream, but that was another immediate YES product. It is by far my favorite moisturizer, and I use it on my entire body. I get the set of two from Costco (I try to wait for a sale so it’s an even bigger bargain) and keep the one with the pump in my medicine cabinet. And I truly use it from the soles of my feet to the top of my head (well, forehead).

Both the Hydrating Facial Cleanser and the Moisturizing Cream are fragrance free, non-comedogenic, and feel RICH. Like, in the sense that they feel like they cost more than they do and that they’re THICK and DECADENT. Keep your pricy only-sold-at-Sephora skincare, I’m sticking with CeraVe.
