Wear, Watch, Want #25: The Basic, Complicated, Life on Mars Edition
Wear: Merona Favorite V-Tee
I am at home a lot. I work here, I lounge here, I also, believe it or not, live here. For days when I'm going to be within a few block radius of my apartment for the whole day, I have a pretty straightforward uniform: leggings and a t-shirt. I needed some new go-to tees, and these Merona ones were 2-for-$9 at Target, so I grabbed two and gave them a try. Holy cow, they're awesome. They're jersey, so they're just about the most comfortable material you can imagine. They wash up really, really nicely (I wash them in cold water and hang them to dry), and they're super affordable, even without the 2-for-1 deal. On the Target website these tees don't have great reviews, but I think that's because the people ragging on them are trying to make these something they're not, i.e., work clothes. You know what these shirts are? T-shirts! You know what they're freaking amazing for? Wearing while I work at home and then take my dog for a walk!
Watch: The Martian
The Martian came out this week. As of this post's publication, I haven't seen it yet, but I'm going tonight. I'm so pumped, you guys. SO PUMPED. I've spent all week like a kid waiting for their birthday or a trip to Disney World (or me, an alleged adult, waiting for my birthday or a trip to Disney World), saying, "Four more sleeps till The Martian.... Three more sleeps till The Martian." I already wrote about how much I loved the book, and how I've been anxiously awaiting the movie for what seems like ages, and now it's finally here.
Want: iPhone 6s... Simply
You may look at the photo and think, "Sarah wants an iPhone 6s." And you're half right. I do. I had plans to upgrade my phone, but when I went to look at what kinds of options I had with my carrier and Apple I was immediately so confused. I hand't been paying any attention to all the shake-ups happening with cell phone contracts and the new way iPhones were being sold nowadays. In case you are also completely in the dark, I'll sum it all up for you: It's now a complete basketful of fuckery. I just want to get a phone, and not have to spend hours debating a million different options and outcomes. So, yes, I want a phone, but that's kind of something I plan on getting. What I want is to have someone hold my hand and help me though this suddenly very overwhelming process, because it should not be remotely this difficult.
