This Pudding Recipe is Ready in Minutes, Has 30g of Protein, AND Actually Tastes Good
What if I told you I had a recipe for a dessert that had 30g of protein, tasted like an actual dessert, and could be made in about 3 minutes? Sounds like a lie, but it is all too true, and I’m going to share with you the pudding that has had me in a chokehold since I first made it.
Ingredients could not be simpler:
A protein shake (I use chocolate Fairlife Nutrition Plan, I get it at Costco)
Pudding mix (through experimentation I have found that a combo of regular and sugar free chocolate is ideal)
That’s it. You also need a blender and a tablespoon and ideally a container to put your pudding in, but all of those can be changed and improvised.
Here’s how you make this decadent and simple pudding: Take your protein shake, and dump it in your blender. Then add three tablespoons of pudding mix (for me, I do two tablespoons sugar free, one regular. I’ve tried every combo and this is the best one, IMO). Then blend for like 5 seconds — Basically you just want your ingredients to be blended well, maybe that’s 3 seconds or 10. Then I like to pour my liquidy, future-pudding into one of these Ziploc containers, which are the perfect size for the task, but you can also just put your blender cup in the fridge (if you have that kind of blender). Leave your pudding to set in the fridge for, idk, like 10 minutes? 20? However long it takes!
When you get your pudding out, it’s going to be a little weird and filled with air bubbles, and you have to whip it up. Then, it looks like regular ol’ pudding, except THIS pudding has 30g of protein and if you are anything like me, can and will be eaten for dinner.
Add fruit, add graham crackers, or just eat it straight out of the container. It’s delicious, it’s protein packed, and it’s dessert that’s “healthy” but actually tastes like dessert. It really is one of the greatest things ever.
