TikTok Influenced Me to Try This (Actually Great) Concealer

It seems like every time i open TikTok, I see someone using Kosas concealer. I was bombarded by it, and so, naturally, I was influenced. The hypa is justified.

I bought this concealer online, so I had to guess my shade, and I went with 2.5 (light with cool peach undertones) it arrived and it was… orange. I look like the model in the photo! Or so I thought. I went and grabbed my Fenty concealer in the shade 120 and swatched them both…

I exchanged the Kosas concealer for shade 1.5 (light with pink undertones) and it’s much better. Speaking of Fenty concealer, though, Kosas’s concealer is very similar to Fenty’s. You definitely don’t need both, especially if you’re me and only rarely wear makeup. The Fenty concealer is more full coverage and a little thicker, the Kosas is lighter, but buildable, and feels more like if tinted moisturizer was concealer.

The Kosas concealer is more for brightening undereyes and other dark spots, and the Fenty can do the heavy lifting on spots that you really want concealed. Now that I’m moving more toward no-makeup/tiny bits of makeup, this Kosas concealer suits my needs better. The TikTok filming-while-getting-ready girlies always know what’s good
