I am thrilled about my latest eyeliner purchase. I said to myself, “I must share this with the world! It’s Urban Decay but for $4!” Then I realized I technically already told the world about it, just three years ago. BUT I’m going to rave about it AGAIN because it is THAT GOOD.

Essence Extreme Lasting Eye Pencil is so similar to Urban Decay 24/7, I’m shocked Essence hasn’t come out with a rainbow of colors to compete with the UD market. You can only get the Essence pencil in four shades, and I’ve already told you about the “nude” one, so now I’m going to praise the brown.

Essence Extreme Lasting Eye Pencil in But First, Espresso, is my IDEAL waterline liner. In my new life as a minimal makeup wearer, I tend to only use this mascara (written about here) and line just my upper waterline with Essence Espresso pencil. It creates the perfect polished-but-not-made-up look that I’ve come to love, and the pencil glides on like a dream. Essence, please make more shades! I’d love a navy, an eggplant, and a copper, thanks!
