Wear: Antiperspirant Spray
LISTEN. I know I made a big deal about using glycolic acid as deodorant, and I haven’t given that up, but I was TOO SWEATY. I was having a hard time wearing anything with sleeves. Even with my improved routine, it wasn’t enough. I can’t handle the moisture. I was getting sweat dripping off my elbows. Now I use this antiperspirant at night (it’s best to apply antiperspirant before bed, I told you this already), and do a quick spritz of glycolic in the morning just to make sure I have no pit scents whatsoever. When it’s cooler, I might go back to just glycolic acid, but now that we’re in Sweat Season I need some extra help.

I have been stressed the hell out lately, and my brain is NOT working at full capacity. I make it to the evening and I just want to stare into space and eat ice cream and then go to sleep. I haven’t watched so many things I want to, because I just can’t bring myself to pay attention, but I also need to kind of decompress and stop thinking… Love Island: Unseen Bits to the rescue.
I started watching Love Island in 2019, with season 5, then later I went back and watched season 3, and now I’m watching season 7 (best to pick and choose… I guess). I’d never watched Unseen Bits before, but it is the Saturday edition where they show (you guessed it!) clips from the week that didn’t make the main episodes. I read Twitter while I watch Love Island, and SO MUCH Twitter content is actually from Unseen Bits, I had no idea. I couldn’t figure out why anyone was invested in Millie and Liam - turns out all their endearing clips were on Unseen Bits! Some of the conversations the islanders have are inane, but then you remember that they’re not allowed to read or watch TV or do anything but sit around and wait for text messages, and it seems a little more understandable.

I was watching a TikTok from a creator I love, Becca Murray, and she was wearing a lovely jumpsuit. Lucky for me, a bunch of other people also liked it, asked where she got it, and she said WORLD MARKET??

So I went to the World Market site and not only is this jumpsuit such a good seller that they make it in a TON of prints, but they also have a lot of clothes that made me think, “I would wear that.” The specific black and white jumpsuit is sold out, but I signed up for a restock email alert, and I might get it in this print or this one. And I also might go on a World Market shopping spree because I like a LOT of their clothes. Truly who knew??!!
