These Arthritis Friendly Nail Clippers Are a Total Game Changer

I am big on disability aids. I have braces for almost every joint, I have special pillows to help keep those joints in place while I sleep, and have you heard that Voltaren gel is now OTC? Even easier to always have a supply at hand. But even I have blind spots, and it took destroying my nail clippers to learn about a new amazing arthritis-friendly tool.

I had no idea there were nail clippers like this, but I guess I always just got mine at Target and didn’t replace them until, like last week, I broke them so irreparably that the only choice was to buy new ones. These clippers are big, easy to grip, and strong (baby nail clippers can also be big and easy to grip but they aren’t up to much) Just being big as hell was enough to make these a game changer. Do you know how hard it is to cut your nails with a teeny tiny clipper when your hands are NOT equipped to maneuver teeny tiny things? I’ll tell you: It’s a literal pain. So they’ve got big plastic handles that are easy to work with, but the real game changer?

THEY CAN ROTATE 360 DEGREES. Basically, you can make the clippy bit facing one direction, and the handles facing another. Has this existed all this time?? HOW have I been living without this?! Without going into too much detail, I outsource my pedicures because the contorting I need to do to get close enough to my toes makes my hypermobile joints get all out of whack, maybe even sublux, and it’s just not worth the hassle. But with this remarkable, weird invention, I can lean over and easily maintain my claws without needing to wrap my whole body in KT tape afterward.

I’ve used these nail clippers on my fingers and toes and both in a regular position and turned at a 90 degree angle and they’re just as usable no matter how to swing it. Truly a life changing gadget, and only $10.
