The Simple Miracle That is the Aquaphor Stick

I lotion up my feet every night before bed, usually with Eucerin Healing Cream (which I have raved about many times). But sometimes I’m just not in the mood to slather my feet in paste-like moisturizer, so I skip it. And then I’m mad because my heels are rough and my feet feel tight and I regret everything. Luckily, I found a solution to my lazy-before-bed predicament, and it was in my drawer this whole time.

This one is the baby version, but the only difference between this one and the regular one is the word “baby” on the packaging. And the baby edition is the only one they sell at my Target.

Aquaphor makes many products, some better than others (maybe the tubes have gotten better in the last decade or so, but I doubt it, they can choke), but their big ol’ stick is the best way to moisturize your feet in 30 seconds when you just want to get in bed. Technically it’s called Aquaphor Healing Balm Stick, but all that really matters is that it keeps my feet super soft and only adds seconds to my pre-bedtime routine.

I just swipe the Aquaphor stick all over my heels and any dry areas, and across my toes. I rub it in afterward, but that’s more so because I also want to moisturize my hands and this is a lazy way to do it. My heels have been sandal ready all summer and I don’t have to worry about the errors my too-sleepy self made the evening before.
