After a Very Bad Burn, These Bandages Were the Only Thing That Helped Me Heal

A few weeks ago I was doing a TON of baking (dog treats, for charity, brag) and while making over 100 batches of treats, I managed to only get one tiny burn on my wrist. Then a week later I had to make a few extra batches, and while doing probably 1/40 of the baking I’d done before, I burned my arm. Badly. At first I thought it would be fine, and I just left it alone, then it got noticeably worse and I definitely needed to bandage it up. I tried my favorite hydrocolloid bandages (that I’ve written about before) and had used on my previous tiny burn to great success. They were just barely the right size to cover this burn, but (and this is gross) the burn was too large and oozy and it leaked out from under the bandage. Hyrdocolloid bandages really need to have a complete seal around whatever they’re healing, so this was not going to work. I tried so many different assortments of bandages, and finally did what I should have done in the first place: Ordered my tried and true bandages in a larger size.

I am now absolutely convinced that the BEST hydrocolloid bandages are from All-Health. All hydrocolloid bandages claim to stay put for days, that you can work out and shower and still have the same bandage, and that they’ll heal your scrapes twice as fast as a regular bandage. All-Health is the only brand I have found to fulfill all these promises. I had the same bandage on my big burn for four straight days - and I work out and shower every day. It didn’t budge, and when I finally decided to take it off, it was to see what my burn was looking like, not because the bandage was coming off. In fact, I actually had to put some effort into getting the bandage to peel off my skin - it could have lasted days longer.

My burn is now just a big red mark that will slowly fade, but if I hadn’t had my All-Health hydrocolloid bandages, I’m sure I’d still be dealing with an oozy painful burn. Whether it’s the smaller All-Health hydrocolloid bandages or the larger ones (and there are more sizes and shapes than these two!) Any time I get a scrape or a burn that needs a bandage, I’m reaching for All-Health.
