Wear, Watch, Want #279: The Customized Emotional PJs Edition
Wear: Bamboo Viscose PJ Pants
I needed new pajamas, and Aerie stopped making the ones I’ve been wearing for years and love, which meant I had to find new new pajama pants, and it has been a HUNT. These pants from Amazon are somehow incredible, they’re priced well, they’re ultra comfortable and drape really nicely (my fellow big butts looking for soft pants: Check these out). And the most amazing thing is that they’re long enough. Part of why I wore my Aerie pants into oblivion is because they were size tall, and I didn’t have some weird inadvertent capri nonsense happening. These pants are maybe an inch shorter than I’d ideally like, but that’s a miracle compared to all other regular length pants out there.
Read: What My Bones Know by Stephanie Foo
I’m on my third library loan of What My Bones Know because I keep getting overwhelmed and have to take breaks. Really, I should just buy a copy and then I could also annotate. I don’t have C-PTSD, which is what this memoir is about, AND YET, there are SO many things that I relate SO deeply to that I have to close the book and take a break (and talk about it with my therapist) and then jump back in. Foo approaches this book as a memoir but also a piece of investigative journalism, and the combination of those two is a perfect way for me to understand things and think about them. I don’t know if you will have the same experience, but I will still recommend this book to anyone.
Want: Printable Stickers
I bought a thermal printer to print shipping labels, and now I want to use it to make custom stickers. The only reason I haven’t already is because I can’t DECIDE. There are different colors and shapes and even blue “ink” options. I just want them all.
