Wear,Watch, Want #269: The Pale, Pink, and Tie-Dyed Edition

Wear: Beauty of Joseon Sunscreen with Danessa Myricks Blurring Balm

I was at the beach for a long weekend, and I didn’t always want to wear makeup, but I wanted to be 1) Protected from the sun (it was cloudy but the sun is sneaky!), and 2) Not devolve into an oily mess by my dinner reservation. These are two of my favorite products (Beauty of Joseon review, Danessa Myricks review), and together it’s like they were made to be worn in tandem. No pilling, no weird texture, just sun protected, oil free, “who cares I’m being effortless at the beach” skin.

Watch: Barbie

I was expecting Barbie to be fun, but I didn’t expect it to be great. But it is! It’s great! I could say more, but I don’t want to type that much. If you ran into me on the street and asked for my thoughts on Barbie I would deliver a LOOSE 90 on all my Barbie thoughts and feelings, so try that at your own peril/thrill. I will say, though, and this is both a positive and negative critique, if you watch Barbie you can skip Feminism 101 and go straight to Intro to Theory… and honestly, maybe you should!

Want: Socks

I’ve been influenced to want athletic crew socks. They look so cute and sporty and could maybe camouflage my swollen ankles (summertime with joint disease AMIRITE?!). But I wear black leggings and black gym shoes and white socks with that outfit is just a fashion Oreo. But look at these socks I found on Amazon. Tie dye! Black and gray! I could potentially be very cute in these bad boys.
