Wear, Watch, Want #265: The Big Expensive Monster Edition
Wear: AE Go Big Oversized Shirt
This summer, if you see me, there’s a high probability I will be wearing this shirt. I got it in four colors. It is perfectly oversized, give you a little coverage without making you overheat, and (to my shock and delight) they don’t need to be ironed after washing. They’re juuuuust rumpled enough that you can get away with throwing one on right after line drying. The one suggestion I have if you do get one or four of these shirts: Size down. I have three smalls and one xs — I myself am neither small nor extra small.
Watch/Play: Subnautica and Subnautica: Below Zero
I like open world exploration games, because I’m into vibes and I don’t like being told what to do. I also love monsters, the ocean, and monsters in the ocean. Subnautica was made for me. I recently finished Subnautica and moved on to Below Zero, which so far I prefer. I was horrified to discover I was playing Subnautica as a man, and Below Zero is a very female centric story, and has a richer storyline overall. Plus, you get to be on land and in the water. And did I mention I get to be a cool lady??
Sidenote: Ben from Chemical Apes is now my best friend who has held my hand through TWO Subnautica games and if you need any guides or clues look NO FURTHER.
I didn’t know Subnautica was considered a horror game and that people stream themselves playing while screaming, but I also don’t find it particularly scary? But maybe this is why:

Want: Warby Parker Esperanza Glasses
I recently got new glasses, and I was torn between the pair I got (Whittier in Soapstone) and the Esperanza. I would get both, but when you add in my ridiculous prescription that requires ultra high index lenses, a pair of glasses is like $300. But oh man, I look so good in the Esperanza frames, they make me want to be financially irresponsible.
