Wear: Gel Manicure

I got my first ever gel manicure this week. It’s SO nice? Like, I knew it would be nicer but I didn’t know I would be immediately addicted and now I can never go back. I don’t feel great about curing my nails under a UV light, but I think there’s a place here in Seattle that uses LED light instead? And then maybe dip is better than both of those options? I’m still new to the fancier manicure world, I’m learning! But oh man, gel manicures are awesome.

Watch: Our Flag Means Death

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Black Sails was one of the best shows no one watched. I mean, some watched it. I did! It was so, SO good. And the best part — and here’s a kinda-spoiler — Black Sails was a gay pirate fairy tale. That’s right, Black Sails did gay pirates in love on a premium cable channel FIRST.

But you should still watch and love Our Flag Means Death. It’s the hottest Taika Waititi has ever been, it’s funny, it’s heartwarming, and it’s a gay pirate love story (again).

Want: PUPPY

I’m getting a puppy this weekend. As this post goes live he will be on his way to me and maybe even IN MY ARMS. I’m nervous. I’m excited. I’m scared (but in an anticipatory way, not a terrified way). It’s going to be an adventure!
