Much like my issue with mascara, I have tried curling my hair again and found my old ways lacking. My previous method of curling my hair with a flat iron left it looking overly curled, but then I’d brush it out and it would look like I never curled my hair at all. I figured to preserve my curls while still loosening them a bit, I should use a wide tooth comb. BUT, I only own a wide tooth comb with no handle, and my arthritic hands do better with a handle. I picked up this comb at Target and it has been working like a dream. I also use it in the shower to distribute my conditioner and detangle - and I end up losing a LOT less hair in the detangling process.

Watch: Bridgerton Season 2

Bridgerton’s first season was good. I enjoyed it and even wrote about it here, but Bridgerton season 2 is fantastic. I doubt I’ll ever re-watch season 1, but I finished the second season this week and I’ll definitely watch it again. Second seasons of TV shows can be rough - so it’s always and extra delight when a second season is even BETTER than the first. Apparently the storyline differs greatly from the book, and while that may upset fans (still haven’t read one Bridgerton book myself), based on what I’ve read, all the changes they made were excellent ideas. If season 1 of Bridgerton wanted to shock its viewers, season 2 wants them to swoon.

Want: Shorts

I have been on a HUNT for some shorts. I want athletic ones, I want denim ones, and I want them to work on my body with no compromises. This is, I have found, a virtually impossible task. BUT, I have recently found a pair of shorts that I think are maybe perfect?? They’re these ones from Lululemon’s Men’s line, which I might not have thought to try without 1) A mom who loves to shop men’s clothes and encourages me to do the same, and 2) This TikTok extolling the virtues of men’s athletic shorts.
