I keep this blanket on my couch, wrapped around two cushions like a fitted sheet. At first it was because I had one dog that had never even lived inside, let alone been potty trained, and a puppy. Now, it’s there because the pup likes to chew up treats and leave pieces and residue all over my couch. It’s MUCH easier to take a blanket off the couch and throw it in the wash than it is to meticulously try to get yak cheese out of your couch cushions.

Watch: Vampire Academy

The thing about the 2014 Vampire Academy movie is that what makes it good is also what makes it bad: It’s very true to the books. The new Vampire Academy series on Peacock strays from the books in many ways, but that may be a good thing! I’ve only watched two episodes so far, but I appreciate a lot of the changes they’ve made from the source material. I do wonder if a casual viewer can keep up with the incredibly detailed world of Vampire Academy, but as someone who’s read the series many times, it’s fun to dissect how the series is straying from the books, for better or worse!
