My Favorite Place to Find Easy, Great Recipes? TikTok
The other day I tweeted this:
Listen: Every single recipe I’ve made after seeing it on TikTok has turned out fantastic. Not a single bad outcome.

And it is absolutely true. Some of my go-to, favorite recipes are from TikTok. It does sometimes take a little extra leg work to get a TikTok recipe - the short video just looks pretty, for actual instruction you need to check the comments or click over to a website. But not once have I been let down by a TikTok recipe. Here are some of my favorites.
This is the recipe that inspired that tweet, and my current obsession. It is SO good, SO filling, and SO satisfying. Also those sun dried tomatoes in the oil are fantastic and not the sun dried tomatoes that have been haunting us since the 90s! I use frozen broccoli in the air fryer and it turns out great (put plain frozen brocc in the air fryer, take them out after they’ve defrosted a bit, add balsamic, then back in the fryer)
This is a favorite of my mom’s - when she comes to visit she requests it at least once. Plus, it’s super easy but feels like it took some skill to throw together. I don’t eat it like a sandwich though, I knife and fork it. Still fantastic.
I made this recipe a few times this summer, but I used the all Trader Joe’s adaptation from this video. It’s another great meal that’s beyond easy to throw together, and it made me discover TJ’s frozen roasted corn which is amazing.
I’ve only made this one once, but it was lovely! I got impatient and didn’t get my prosciutto super crispy, but it was still good. Prosciutto is always good.
If you have a favorite TikTok recipe, let me know. I’m always looking to expand my recipe repertoire and frankly, my TikTok recipes have a better success rate than the ones I’ve gotten from The New York Times.
