This Gadget Will Help You Use Up Every Last Bit of Your Favorite Stuff
I decant most things into a different container, whether it’s to make it more aesthetically pleasing, keep things fresher, or just combining what’s left of one product into a newly purchased one. The problem that arises just about every time, though, is how to get every last bit of say, lotion, from the old bottle to the new. My go-to method was to prop bottles of shampoo, soap, or whatever else upside down on my bathroom sink, precariously balanced with the faucet and sink handles offering limited support. I’d leave the bottles there to get every last bit down to the lid, and I’d invariably hear a big crash when my terrible system collapsed. And even when it did kind of work, I still wouldn’t’ be able to get every little bit of product out of the bottle. I needed a better system.
The Smart Funnel is exactly what I was dreaming of. It holds two containers in place - no need for my goofy bathroom sink setup - and it allows you to leave your containers unsupervised while every last drop from one bottle goes into another. You just put the funnel into the container you want to empty into, and clamp it in place. The two clamps open up pretty wide, so it can accommodate a huge variety of containers.
Because the top bottle will go into a funnel, you don’t have to be super precise about lining the two containers up. Things can shift, or one container can be larger than the other, and it will still work.
I personally prefer this to threaded bottle attachment thingies - you have to get it juuuust right, and forget about wanting to decant a larger bottle into a smaller one. WIth the Smart Funnel you can get up to whatever kind of decanting hijinks you like.
And if you don’t want to drain an entire bottle, or the dregs of a used bottle into another? You can move the top clamp to the side and just use the funnel.
As a fiend for decanting things into different containers, and using up every last drop of product, the Smart Funnel is an invaluable tool, and I can’t believe I went so long without it in my life.
