This Tiny Vial Holds the Secret to a Perfect Pout
I am typically very averse to physical lip exfoliants, like lip scrubs, because I think it’s just as effective to use your toothbrush. Also effective? If you’re in the shower already, use your Salux washcloth! There is no reason why you should pay money for a special exfoliant for your lips when there are so many other options that are 1) simpler, and 2) already paid for. But when I found out about Fresh’s chemical lip exfoliant, Sugar Wonder Drops, I was intrigued. This little dropper bottle promises to smooth your lips - making them primed for lipstick - through the power of AHAs.
This little tube is tiny, and moderately expensive for something so small, but you really just need one drop. Probably less if you have a small mouth (I’m guessing. My lips take up a lot of face space). I tend to use the dropper to dispense a drop onto my finger, then rub that all over my lips and even around my mouth (the bottle calls this the “lip contour area”). I let it dry down a little - we’re talking 20 seconds or so - and then apply either lip balm or lip color of some kind.
Fresh Sugar Wonder Drops are perfect if you like to wear lip stains, or any lipstick that shows every little chappy or uneven bit of your lips. It will also help your lip color stay on longer, because you’re free from flakes that will come off, taking your color with them. Now for the real next level use: I like to get ready for bed, then right before I tuck in I apply the Wonder Drops, then layer on either Aquaphor or Qtica Intense Lip Balm and go to sleep. You’ll wake up in the morning with a perfectly prepped pout.
