My New Go-To, Everyday, Touch-Up, Drop Dead Gorgeous Dry Shampoo

I am a dry shampoo evangelist, and if you ever make the mistake of asking me any question about dry shampoo, I will hold you hostage for as long as I can, telling you every rant, rave, and recommendation I have. I’m always on the lookout for a new fave (my most recent one being Tap Secret, which I’ve already drooled over publicly here). And at the same time I ordered Tap Secret, I also got Handmade Heroes Drop Dead Gorgeous Dry Shampoo, and it has become another must-have, must-share dry shampoo.

In my routine, Handmade Heroes has replaced Kristin Ess as my daily touch-up dry shampoo, because it’s got some GRIT to it. I have straight hair that’s thick but silky smooth, and while I love Kristin Ess dry shampoo, and still use it, it is also a little fine and sleek, and it can sometimes just sit on my hair instead of getting in there and de-greasing and mattifying as I’d like. There is also a light and a dark variety of this dry shampoo, which is somewhat rare (but is becoming more mainstream). I use the light one, and I can’t speak to the quality of the dark blend, but if the quality matches the version I have, it’s probably amazing.

Also the application could not be easier, because Drop Dead Gorgeous Dry Shampoo is just in a shaker bottle. BUT, you can adjust the size of the shaker opening, so you could open it just half way if you want a sprinkle, or open it all the way if you’re an addict like myself. PLUS, it’s great for traveling or just being clumsy, because you can twist the cap all the way closed and your bottle will stay secure no matter how much you jostle it around.

This is also so much product for the quality and price. I am obsesed with Tap Secret, but it’s damn expensive, and I go through a container far too fast. I am still on the bottle of Handmade Heroes Drop Dead Gorgeous Dry Shampoo that I bought in November, and I do NOT have a light hand when it comes to dry shampoo application. And did I mention it’s super affordable? A bottle, which again I have been using for three months, is $10. AND it’s good. AND it’s spill-proof, AND it’s a great every day, go-to dry shampoo. Handmade Heroes, welcome to my Dry Shampoo Hall of Fame.
